Hershie Weingarten

Hershie Weingarten focuses his practice on simple and complex real estate transactions in all types of commercial and residential properties throughout Illinois. Hershie is also a licensed as an Illinois Nursing Home Administrator and an Illinois Real Estate Broker having worked in both industries before becoming an attorney. In his role as a principal of Weingarten & Adler, Hershie has led the firm in representing nursing home and property management clients in the legal aspects of their businesses. Hershie graduated from DePaul University College of Law with a certificate in health law. Prior to attending law school, Hershie received his MA in Jewish Law and has since published extensively in that field.

Uri S. Adler

Uri Adler focuses his practice on business transactions and complex real estate law. He has helped many clients start new companies, including guiding them through the incorporation or formation of another business entity and developing contracts for employees, suppliers and distributors. Uri worked in the construction, general contracting and property management industries before attending law school. Prior to helping found Weingarten & Adler, Uri worked for 3 years on the in-house counsel team at Rush University Medical Center and Rush Oak Park Hospital. Uri graduated cum laude from DePaul University, College of Law, with CALI awards in Constitutional Law and Health Care Contracts. Uri also holds a Bachelors Degree from the Hebrew Theological College in Skokie.

Michael Burke

Michael Burke centers his practice in the area of consumer bankruptcy. He was a lead editor on the Aldephia Law Journal and earned his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School. Michael went on to work for one of the largest bankruptcy firms in the city of Chicago. He has brought his experience in handling over 350 bankruptcy cases to head Weingarten and Adler’s bankruptcy division. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with the specific focus on finance from the University of Iowa.
